In this picture could be said that "American Federation of the Labor & Congress of Industrial " is tell us that labor and industrial must be an alliance. They need to work together, may be because the American got a ecnonmy problem. The worker didn't get a well pay and worked more harder , so they want to make the labor and the industral to run the new ecnonmy.this union.
"Labor is prior to, and independent of, capital. Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if labor had not first existed. Labor is the superior of capital, and deserves much the higher consideration.
"
-Abraham Lincoln

I think in this quote is talking about that the capital is no more important than the labor.
